His girlfriend is at home, sorting out his clothes to take to the hotel where he is due to meet old friends. She assures him she won't miss him tonight. Nikhil leaves, promising his betrothed that he will come back to her soon. As Nikhil leaves, he gets a phone call from an old friend, Raj (Kay Kay Menon), whom he hasn't met in years. They get together at Raj's place, and Nikhil finds himself drinking like never before. All this after drinking one shot of Old Monk rum earlier in the day to settle his nerves for his meeting the next day!Nikhil wakes up around 5 pm, groggy and foggy-headed. He finds himself dressed in the clothes he left home in. He immediately knows that someone has undressed him and dressed him again - but whose? And why? And then he finds three missed calls on his cell phone from his girlfriend. He calls her back and tells her he is fine, although she doesn't believe him. He picks up some clothes from his house to cover himself up and leaves, not before dropping the boots in a dustbin.Nikhil arrives at Raj's place again after collecting his car from the roadside parking lot where he had left it the previous night.
